Prayer Hotline

The Prayer Hotline Volunteers - We are a group comprised of prayer warriors and intercessors. Ezekiel 22:30 reads “I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.” (NIV). We are called to stand in the gap for the church and the community as intercessors on their behalf.

It is our mission to give the entire church a greater awareness and involvement in prayer as the overall foundation of the church, so that prayer becomes an undergirding of everything we do; and remove it from worldly form and fashion. We strive to reach souls in and out of the church through prayer.

We are on duty 24 hours, 7 days a week. The volunteers take time slots to answer the phone for anyone who calls in need of prayer. We lend a compassionate heart and spiritual, loving ear to listen to the lonely, sick and shut- in, anyone that is worried or stressed, down trodden or just need to talk. We are on the main line and will call Jesus up on your behalf no matter what the hour or circumstance. We respect your right to privacy and have taken a vow of confidentiality. We will also try to meet your needs.  As appropriate and with permission, we refer persons to a ministry within our church that will meet their needs. For the unchurched, or those outside of the church membership, we pray, invite them to worship with Israel, and try to address their needs.  We are standing in the gap, PLEASE CALL (202) 723-5945, we are on the line.

We are always in need of volunteers
